Work from my account director life

This is work I helped bring to life as an account director. So why is it here?

Working with talent like Dr. Dre, Shaun White, Mike Rowe, and Jim Carrey, and navigating complex business partnerships with Disney and Beats, showed me how to work within creative constraints and still deliver for clients.

Coming back to advertising as a mid-level creative who was already familiar with broadcast production made me invaluable, especially on smaller projects. Knowing how to write casting specs, shop for wardrobe, and style talent and sets has come in clutch when budgets are tight.

  • Partnered with companies like Disney and Beats to promote HP

  • Produced branded content based on the real-life personas of celebs like Shaun White and Mike Rowe

HP + Shaun White

Ever wondered what it would be like to be friends with Shaun White?

HP had partnered with the famous Olympian, and the agency’s job was to figure out how to use him. Our creative team imagined a diehard crew of stans, opportunists, and friends from before Shaun White was Shaun White, and then loosely scripted a series of vignettes. They’re pretty playful, with a few moments of existential ennui interspersed.

HP + Beats

Who better to introduce the first laptop built for music than Dr. Dre?

HP TouchSmart + Disney’s A Christmas Carol

Our team had to weave in certain scenes from a soon-to-be-released movie starring Jim Carrey, while also selling the entertainment benefits of HP’s first touch-screen desktop.

Not gonna lie, though; we made this in 2008, and I mostly dug it up for nostalgia.
