A Fresh Take on Curbside

When you launch a new retail concept, in the thick of a pandemic, that improves on something that’s also pretty new, clarity is your best friend.

That’s why we kept the tagline for Fresh Street, a curbside-only grocery store in Chicago, super simple.

Using smart technology to keep their inventory up-to-date, Fresh Street solved a major pain point of curbside grocery shopping: substitutions.

(I once got banana Laffy Taffy in place of bananas…)

  • Clearly communicated the benefit while also bolstering brand awareness

  • Illustrations and bright colors add a sense of whimsy

  • Spotify radio, digital, social, and direct mail

  • Local OOH near the first location, with QR codes to direct folks to the website
